Although we will make every endeavour to ensure your safety during The Anarski Camp, we cannot accept responsibility for any injury sustained or loss/damage to equipment, that may result during your stay. Freestyle skiing and snowboarding are very physical sports with a high risk of injury, and whilst experienced coaches will be available to guide/offer advise, skiers and snowboarders can be injured or killed as a result of factors outside of our control. Those who choose to participate in the Anarski Camp do so entirely at their own risk, taking full responsibility for any injury/loss they may sustain, absolving Anarski Week Freestyle Camp, its sponsors, its staff and representatives, entirely and without exclusion from any responsibility. Participation is on the strict understanding that you and your next of kin have given these factors due consideration and are willing to accept full responsibility for your participation. We cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items of clothing, equipment or personal belongings.
It is a condition of participation that you have independent snowsports insurance as we cannot be responsible for any injury, loss, damage or death. Your insurance should cover Freestyle snowsports in particular as well as initial emergency evacuation from the slopes. Your insurance should also cover medical treatment and specialist transportation home to the UK if required.
We can personally recommend insurance from “Tag Connect” which can be purchased via www.snowboardclub.co.uk, (they offer a discount to their members so it is worth joining just for that).
We also strongly recommend that you apply for an European National Health Card. It’s free, forms are available form the post office and it will cover up to 90% of your hospital bills within the EEC (your personnal insurance would then pay the balance)
